LENAS ROECKL REINTERPRETATION OF THE BOTTLE BAG
First bag design of the seventh ROECKL generation
With the "Lenny Bag", ROECKL introduces a vibrant reinterpretation of the established "Bottle Bag line" made of recycled PET bottles. The design is the work of Lenas Roeckl, a 22-year-old fashion design student at the AMD Academy of Fashion & Design in Munich, and a member of the seventh generation of the Roeckl family. This marks his first design for the Munich-based family business and serves as a confident debut.
Character meets functionality
An important feature of the reinterpretation of the Bottle Bag are the long handles, prominent fringes, and a distinct, sculptural silhouette. The ROECKL Bottle Bag, made from recycled PET bottles, provides the bag with its durable, lightly textured surface. When combined with the meticulously crafted leather details, an intriguing material contrast is created. The vibrant colors add a bold touch.
The creative Process
In close collaboration with the teams at ROECKL, Lenas Roeckl developed the "Lenny Bag" from the initial sketch to the final product. Mnaufactured in the company's own bag factory, this model merges artisanal precision with Lenas Roeckl's unique design philosophy.
The process combines traditional craftsmanship with a modern, cross-generational perspective on the family business.
