  • LEATHER
    ROECKL leather gloves and bags are made in our own factories in Europe. We use traditional techniques with a workmanship that is next to none thanks to our passionate team. Their craft, which they have perfected over generations is reflected in our beautiful products. The quality and workmanship of our products is also due to the carefully selected raw materials.
  • PECCARY LEATHER
    Peccary leather comes from the smallest species of the South American wild boar and has a characteristic grain pattern of three small pores sitting in a row.

    Peccary leather is perfect for gloves: It does not restrict the sense of touch or the mobility of the fingers, and its dense texture keeps you warm even when the gloves are unlined.

    A peccary glove is always sewn by hand at ROECKL with up to 2,000 stitches. The combination of the durability and the soft feel of a glove made of peccary leather makes it a popular companion of the highest quality.

  • DEERSKIN
    The robust yet very soft deerskin leather has an even, distinctive pore structure. Pleasantly soft to the touch, it is both elegant and rustic. Deerskin gloves are mainly hand-sewn stitch by stitch which helps to emphasise the more rustic style of the leather.
  • HAIR SHEEPSKIN
    The special feature of hair sheepskin is its evenness and softness. It has a smooth surface with very fine pores. This is due to the fact that hair sheep do not grow wool but rather grow a fine coat of hair. It is therefore particularly suitable for very fine leather gloves. Exceptionally supple and soft, the leather glove clings to the hand like a second skin making it extremely elegant. ROECKL primarily uses sheep skin leather for gloves. Thanks to a high-quality dyeing process, the leather remains breathable.

  • GOATSKIN
    Goatskin is durable yet soft and fine. It has a pleasant warm feel and like lambskin, it is very light.
  • CALFSKIN AND COWHIDE
    Calfskin nappa is one of the highest quality leathers for bags. Its structure is particularly firm and even. It also has a soft touch and a very natural look. The grain pattern of calfskin is very fine due to the closely spaced hair pores. In addition to bags, it is also used for high-quality accessories such as wallets, belts and cases.

    The grain pattern of cowhide is more distinctive and much larger. It is defined by its grain.

  • Lambskins are tough, durable and breathable
  • LAMB FUR
    Lamb fur, also called shearling, is sourced from free-range lambs in both New Zealand and Portugal. Depending on the breed and age of the sheep, the typical curl of the lamb fur is finer or coarser or has been smoothed by a particular finish. Lamb furs are naturally grown furs that are tanned with the wool attached. They are robust, durable, breathable, have an antibacterial effect and also provide maximum warmth.

    ROECKL Touch products combine elegant design with innovative technology. Thanks to nanotechnology, the leather is made conductive in a special tanning process. Through this technique scrolling on devices is made possible without having to remove the glove. With our stylish ROECKL Touch gloves you can operate smartphones and touchpads without getting cold fingers even at very low temperatures.

  • TEXTILES
    In the textile sector, ROECKL uses various natural fibers such as cotton and linen made from plant fibers and wool and silk made from animal fibers. Following traditional techniques, people work with great passion and craftsmanship to ensure that the products made from these natural materials become longlasting favourites.
  • SILK
    Silk fabrics are among the finest natural fibres available for textile production. These fine but strong threads are extracted from the cocoons of the mulberry spider caterpillar and processed into various silk fabrics. Silk has a particularly elegant, fine sheen and has excellent insulating properties.

    Typical silk varients are chiffon, crepe de chine, satin, twill, georgette and pongé.

  • COTTON
    The fibres obtained from the seeds of the cotton plant are processed into cotton fabrics. In addition to length, the colour, fineness, strength, lustre, purity and softness are decisive for the quality of the fibres. Cotton can be bleached, dyed, washed and mercerised. It has pleasant wearing properties and is breathable.
  • LINEN
    Linen is obtained from a fibre of the flax plant. The fabric feels fresh and cool and absorbs moisture well. Linen fabrics are therefore ideal for summer.

  • Cashmere - the highest quality wool fiber in Roeckl accessories
  • CASHMERE
    Cashmere is a particularly soft and very fine natural fibre which is obtained from the undercoat of the cashmere goat native to Mongolia. The hair of the goat is not shorn, but combed out elaborately and carefully until the valuable animal fibre remains. The highest quality fibre is characterised by its special softness and silky sheen. It is very cosy and very comfortable to wear on the skin. ROECKL sources its cashmere wool directly from Mongolia and processes it using elaborate techniques and skilled craftsmanship.
  • WOOL
    Classic wool comes from sheep and the wool qualities differ according to the origin of the sheep and their breed. The finest wool comes from merino sheep.

    A special property of wool is that it can absorb moisture well without the fabric feeling wet. Wool keeps you nice and warm and is also less susceptible to dirt and odours.

  • VIRGIN WOOL
    We use 100% virgin wool, which is certified according to OEKO-TEX 100. We obtain this from the Schoeller company, one of the first spinning mills to be awarded the most comprehensive environmental certificate "bluesign".
  • MOHAIR
    Mohair wool is one of the highest quality yarns. It comes from the Angora goat - not to be confused with the Angora rabbit - and is valued mainly for its fine texture and soft structure. Mohair is warming in winter and cooling in summer. Mohair is equally to sheep wool, water-repellent and can absorb moisture and thus offers pleasant wearing comfort. ROECKL sources its mohair yarns from certified manufacturers where animal welfare is a priority and the legal requirements are constantly monitored.

  • Alpaca wool with fine curl and unique thermal properties
  • ALPACA
    Alpaca has unique thermal properties. Due to the hollow fibre, alpaca has a high insulation and therefore a first-class warmth retention capacity. At low temperatures, alpaca stores body heat and on days with high temperatures, the fibres repel heat, creating a unique thermal balance. The flame resistant alpaca fibre has a high degree of elasticity and resilience and is particularly dirt and odour repellent. The fibre diameter of alpaca is very small, which enables the production of extremely light and thin fabrics and leads to a very pleasant wearing sensation.
  • YAK
    Yaks are cattles that commonly live at high altitudes in Central Asia. The wool from a Yak can absorb moisture well and yet does not feel damp. The fine and soft natural hair is similar to cashmere in that it feels very comfortable to wear.

  • Viscose, a natural fiber made from cellulose (wood fiber)
  • VISCOSE
    Viscose is a natural fibre obtained from cellulose (wood). The cellulose, mostly obtained from wood species such as beech, eucalyptus or spruce, is decomposed with caustic soda. It resembles cotton in its properties or silk in its touch. Viscose is breathable and temperature-balancing, has a high moisture absorption capacity and is therefore particularly kind to the skin. In addition, it is soft and supple.
  • MODAL
    Modal is a natural fibre made from cellulose through a chemical process. Beech wood is used for its production, so it is 100% natural. Modal fibre is one of the newly regenerated cellulose fibres that have high strength and at the same time high elasticity and breathability. It has a particularly high moisture absorption and dries quickly.

    Modal fabrics are pleasantly soft and remain so even after many washes. Products made from modal have a silky sheen that remains over time.
