We utilize only premium quality leather in the production of our gloves. These leather gloves are characterized by their durability, softness, and elasticity. Additionally, many of our offerings feature lining to ensure for extra warmth.
We offer leather gloves made from different types of leather: hair sheep leather, peccary leather, deerskin, sheep leather, lambskin and goatskin.
Cashmere
Our elegant ladies' gloves made from fine-haired cashmere are not only extremely soft they are also insulative and keep you nice and warm.
Cotton
The ROECKL women's gloves, crafted from organic cotton, offer both comfort and antiviral properties. This feature safeguards against unwanted contact with door handles, and various surfaces. Our cotton gloves for women are minimalist and practical in their design.
Wool
Our gloves for women made from a wool blend offer a pleasantly soft and warm handle. The design goes particularly well with leather and quilted coats. What's more, wool can absorb up to 30% moisture without feeling damp.
Satin
Our lustrous satin gloves enable women to create striking accents in both daily settings and during special events. These gloves serve as an ideal complement to evening and ball gowns.
Boiled Wool
These ROECKL full-face gloves are made from either 100% wool or a wool-cashmere blend. The wool-cashmere blend is of particularly high quality. The cashmere fibers are inside and therefore in direct contact with the skin, this glove feels particularly soft. The production of boiled wool involves a sophisticated manufacturing process where the wool undergoes pressing, kneading, and controlled felting. Throughout this fulling process, the wool fabric experiences a shrinkage of 20-60%, resulting in a denser structure that features distinctive air pockets formed by the entanglement and contraction of the fibers. These air pockets serve to trap warmth generated by the body, providing exceptional insulation. Additionally, the temperature-regulating characteristics of wool contribute to enhanced comfort across different temperature conditions. Notably, this production method utilizes only clean water, without the addition of chemicals or softeners.
To ensure that you can wear your gloves for many years, we have summarized the most important care tips for you.
Which Gloves are Suitable for Whic Weather and Which Occasion?
Leather gloves exude sophistication. Certain designs are resistant to water and dirt, rendering them an ideal option for inclement autumn conditions. Additionally, lined leather gloves provide warmth and protection against the cold during winter months. For dry and chilly winter weather, cozy wool gloves are preferable, offering greater flexibility compared to leather. Attractive mittens can be worn for a casual stroll in the snow. Finger gloves are more appropriate for daily use, as they facilitate precise movements.
Stylish gloves can function as a sophisticated accessory and a focal point during milder weather too. Consider opting for sleek leather gloves for your upcoming cocktail event, for instance.
When driving in a convertible, the matching driving gloves are a must. These gloves safeguard your hands from the elements, enhance grip on the steering wheel, and exude a sense of sophistication. Distinctive driving gloves can be identified by the circular perforations on the upper side. These cut-outs are strategically placed above the knuckles, allowing for a comfortable and relaxed grip on the steering wheel.
Many of our gloves for men and women are equipped with a practical touchscreen function. This allows you to operate your smartphone without having to take off your gloves and keeps your fingers warm in any situation.
Gloves Against the Cold: what you should bear in mind
Do not buy Gloves that are to small!
Of course, gloves should be neither too tight nor too wide. However, to ensure that the gloves keep your fingers nice and warm, you should make sure that they are not too small. There needs to be some space at the front of the fingertips for an insulating layer of air. This small air space between your fingers and the material warms up over time and keeps your hands warm.
Our leather gloves are an exception. The natural leather adapts to the hand over time and can therefore widen slightly. We advise buying leather gloves that fit tightly.
Lined Styles keep you Warm for longer!
The hands retain warmth more effectively when wearing gloves with a warm lining compared to those without. A significant number of our styles feature such linings. The materials we utilize include cashmere, wool, polyester, lambskin, polyamide and fleece.
Mittens keep you Warmer than Gloves!
If gloves are primarily intended to protect a lady from the cold and frost, we recommend mittens. These are warmer than finger gloves, as the fingers in the mittens can warm each other. However, they do restrict mobility. If the focus is on the esthetic of the gloves, we recommend deciding according to your personal taste.
What glove sizes are available?
The appropriate size of gloves is essential for ensuring maximum protection for your hands against cold temperatures. Our selection includes gloves available in a single size as well as sizes ranging from 6 to 8. Opting for "one size" is a reliable choice, as these gloves are crafted to accommodate all hand sizes effectively.
The typical women's hand is 7.5. You can also easily measure your glove size. To do this, take a tape measure and place it around the widest part of your flat hand. You can use this value to determine your glove size using our conversion table. If you are between sizes, we advise you to take the smaller one. Leather gloves adapt to your hand over time and can widen slightly.
